ESTA PRIMAVERA PONTE CALCETINES / THIS SPRING GET SOCKS ON.

Los hemos visto en los desfiles de moda durante varias temporadas, luego han sido las fashionistas quienes han seguido recordándonoslos y ahora que empieza el buen tiempo tú también puedes sumarte a la tendencia. Pero primero te dejo algunos consejillos que te van a ayudar. / We have seen them in the fashion runways during few seassons, then the fashionist and the streetsstters have been the once who keep remind us and now that the good weather starts you can also be part of the trend. But first I’ll give you a few advice that might help you.

Llevalos según sea tu figura / Wear them accord to your figure shape.

Ante todo tienes que elegir la longitud de los calcetines con cuidado. Si tus muslos son anchos los calcetines muy altos llamarán mucho la atención y harán que las miradas se centren en tu muslo por eso es mejor que elijas unos calcetines que terminen por debajo de la rodilla o que lleguen hasta el tobillo, prueba ambas opciones a ver cual te gusta más. / First of all you have to pick the length of the socks carefully. If you got big thighs, thigh high socks will draw too much attention to them so you should chose knee socks that finish below your knee or ankle socks, try both options and see witch one you like it most.

Los calcetines por encima de la rodilla quedan muy bien a quienes tienen el muslo delgado o incluso a quien lo tienen más delgado que la pantorilla ya que centran su atención en el muslo y no en la pantorilla. Además es una alternativa muy seductora por que siempre han estado relacionados con el mundo de la lencería. / The thigh high socks over the knee fits well to people who has a slim thigh or even to whom has more slim the thigh than the calf because the attention is focus on the thigh and not on the calf. Plus is a very seductive alternative because it always has been exposed on the lingerie world.

 

 

Heidi lleva calcetines altos ¿os daís cuenta de donde va la mirada? / Heidi wears thigh high socks, do you realize were the eyes go?

Si eres bajita, elije calcetines altos por debajo de la rodilla y dales una vuelta para enseñar más la pierna, esto hará que parezcas más alta. / If you are short, choose knee high socks that cut off below the knee and give them a shorter hemline to expose more leg this will make you taller.

En la película Cluless la estilista eligió esta opción para el personaje que interpretaba Alicia Silverstone. / On the movie Cluless the stylist chose this option for Alicia Silverstone character.

¿Cómo los llevo? / How do I style them?

Evita/ Avoid: 1. Los calcetines de punto grueso, fueron tendencia en el 2007 pero ahora ya no se llevan. / Thick knit shock, they were on Turing 2007 but now they are so passé.

Esta tendencia es de 2007 pero ahora evita los calcetines tan gruesos. / This trend is from 2007 but now avoild thick socks

2. Los calcetines altos a juego con faldas de cuadros escoceses o lisas, a no ser que puedas evitar el estilo colegiala. La moda Gossip Girl está pasada del todo. / The high socks with tartan or plain skirts, unless you can avoild the school girl look. The Gossip Girl style is out now.

No al estilo Gossip Gril. / Say no at the Gossip Girl style.

Evita las faldas con tablas escocesas. / Avoid tartan skirts.

3. Evita llevar los calcetines hasta la rodilla o el muslo con trajes completos o monos. / Avoid wearing knee high socks or thigh high socks with body suites.

Dan una imagen un poco rara y acortan la figura. / They give a weird image and they short the body figure.

Este look no queda nada bien. / This look doesn’t fit good, does it?

Opta por/ Bet for: 1. Capas, los calcetines hasta la rodilla o que terminan encima de esta, sobre puntillas o medias estampadas son una buena opción para romper las reglas. / Layes, knee high socks or over the knee socks over sheer or prints are a good option to break the rules.

2. Si quieres que los calcetines sean el centro de todas las miradas apuesta por el color y la textura. / If you want the socks to be the center of all the looks bet for the color and texture.

¿Qué es lo que veís primero de la foto? Efectivamente destacan el cinturon y los calcetines rojos. / What do you see at the picture at first time? Definitly the red belt and red socks highlight.

Si eliges algún modelo como estos las miradas se centrarán en ellos. Este diseño es super chulo. / If you chose a model like this all the looks will be center at them. This design is so cool.

3. Ponte calcetines hasta la rodilla o el muslo con pantalones cortos, pantalones estilo boyfriend o shorts muy cortos. / Wear knee high socks or thigh high socks with hot pants, boys pants or short pants.

4. Calcetines oscuros hasta la rodilla debajo de las botas le dan un look con mucha personalidad. Además, es una buena idea si tienes frío. / Dark thigh high socks under boots will give you a strong personal look. Plus is a great idea if you still have could.

5. Los calcetines hasta el tobillo son otra opción perfecta para esta Primavera. La hemos visto con sandalias y peep toes en la Semana de Moda de París e incluso con botines a Alexa Chung. / The ankle socks are other perfect option for this Spring. We have seen them with sandals and peep toe during Paris Fashion Week and even with booties to Alexa Chung.

7. Con faldas con volumen que terminen por encima de la rodilla quedan genial. / With volumen skirts that end up adove the knee look great!

Con una falda corta con volumen queda muy mono. / With a short volume skirt it looks so cute.

Los calcetines cortos con esta opción también quedan muy bien. / Short socks with this option also look gorgeous.

- En el desfile de Primavera 2010 de Milly by Michelle Smith en calcetines cortos y oscuros con sandalias. Si quieres llevarlos así, busca una sandalia no muy elegante, ni con mucho tacón, sino más bien sandalias con tacón ancho, plataformas o las conocidas como sandalias t-straps. / On the Milly by Michelle Smith Spring 2010 catwalk with dark short socks with sandals. If you want to wear them that way, look for a sandal not too elegant or high heel one but wide heels sandals or the t-straps sandals.

- Mari los combinó en su desfile de Primavera 2010 con sandalias planas y plataformas. El calcetín de Marni es en tonos claros y llega hasta media pierna. / Marni had combine them on the Spring 2010 runway with flat sandals and platforms. The Marni socks are in clear tone and it goes ‘till half of the leg.

El efecto de el calcetín a media pierna y con este tipo de sandalias no me convence. / The look with socks on the middle of the calf and with this kind of sandals doesn’t convinces me.

Con plataformas queda mejor que con las sandalias tan planas, sin embargo el calcetín a media pierna sigue sin convencerme. / With platforms it fits better than with flats, but the socks on the middle of the leg still doesn’t convince me.

 

- Gaspard Yurkievich mostró en su desfile de Primavera 2010 medias por encima de la rodilla combinadas con calcetines hasta la rodilla con un doblez, calcitines cortos, y calcetines largos hasta la rodilla con distintos diseños. / Gaspard Yurkievich show on his Spring 2010 runway layer socks with a combination of knee high socks above knee socks with a lap, short socks and high socks untill the knee with different designs.

- En el desfile de Alexander Wang de su colección de Primavera 2010, con calcetines altos hasta la rodilla, algunos de ellos con una vuelta, en tonos grises, beige, negros y blancos, a juego con botines peep toe. / On the Alexander Wang Spring 2010 runway, with knee high socks finished below the knee, some with a turn, in grey, beige, black and white, mixed with peep toe booties.

Alexander Wang propone que lo llevemos con short de cuero. / Alexander Wang propose we wear them with leather short.

Alexander Wang los combina con pep-toe. / Alexander Wang mix them with peep-toe.

Incluso los combina con sus zuecos. / Even he mix them with his clogs.

-Burberry Posum los mostró en su desfile de Primavera 2010 de Londres en color gris con sandalias de plataforma beiges. / Burberry Posum show them at the London Spring 2010 runway in grey with beige platform sandals.

Me encanta como los a combinado Christopher porque les de un toque my lady y elegante. / I love how Christopher has combine them because they give them a lady and elegant look.

- En el desfile de Primavera 2010 Rag & Bone las modelos vestían calcetines blancos cortos con botines. / On the Rag & Bone Spring 2010 catwalk  the models wore white sort socks with booties.

- Louis Goldin va más allá y en su desfile de Primavera 2010 los saco con zapatos cerrados en tonos oscuros, es otra opción que no os he propuesto pero que podéis imitar. A mí me gusta porque me recuerda a mi infancia, tenía unos zapatitos preciosos negros que combinaba así con calcetines cortos. / Louis Goldin goes farder and on her Spring 2010 catwalk had combine them with close shoes in dark colors, is other option that I haven’t propose you but you can copy cat that. I like it because it reminds me my childhood, I had a cute black shoes that I mixed this way with sort socks.

Y Kors no fue el único en sacarlos. / Michael Kors got them on his Fall-Winter 2010/2011 they where untill the knee but if wool. And Kors wasn´t the only one designer who catwalk with them
